Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to paid subscriptions to the SoNow platform purchased by educational institutes from Matrikar.

1. Cancellation

  • An institute may cancel its subscription at any time.
  • On cancellation, access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • After the billing period ends, access to paid features stops unless the subscription is renewed.

2. Refunds

  • Refund requests should be made within 7 days of the relevant charge.
  • Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are typically approved for accidental charges, billing errors or significant service issues.
  • Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.
  • Partial refunds are not provided for unused time after a mid-cycle cancellation.

3. Plan Changes

An institute may upgrade or change its plan during a billing cycle. Where an upgrade applies immediately, billing may be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. Downgrades generally take effect from the next billing cycle.

4. Your Data on Cancellation

Cancelling a subscription does not immediately delete an institute's data. Data handling on cancellation and account closure is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email us at grievance@sonow.in with your institute's registered details and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
